66 players linked... none signed.

LFC.tv recently ran a article about the fact that 66 players have been linked with us in the month of June alone.  None of whom we signed by the way.  That goes to show how much we should listen to the media.  The fact is it is silly season at the moment and if you believed everything you read we'd have enough players for about 9 teams.

Our realistic targets should be well known to Reds fans by now, but frustration still grows at the lack of signings.  Arsenal are now reported (if you believe the media) to be interested in Downing and Enrique meaning we may miss out on another 2 targets.

We've again been linked with Aaron Lennon with Aquilani going the other way.  That's one way to get rid of him, but I can't see Redknapp taking the bait.  The problem still remains that we have too much dead wood.

The squad is back in training as of today, pre-season begins very soon and we have not made any significant signings, (is Henderson a significant signing?) and I am starting to worry more and more every day.

Are we playing the waiting game with the likes of Adam or do we need to sell before we buy?  Time will tell.
